In general, you may visit our website without providing any personal information. If you choose to contact us via our contact form, we will collect the data requested or that you have submitted. If you choose to subscribe to our email newsletter, we will collect the data requested. We may use cookies on our website, for your convenience. Cookies last for one year and do not track your behaviour, they are used to assist with making your experience faster (for logins etc, where relevant). Any information you do share with us is treated confidentially and stored securely to the best of our abilities and will never knowingly be shared or sold to unauthorised parties. If you place an order with us, we may also collect additional information that we will use to process the transaction. Sometimes this may occur offline and be subject to a separate privacy policy or contract. Please ask us if you need details.

OTHER DATA WE MAY COLLECT ON OUR WEBSITE

We may choose to use third party content in the site (embedded or otherwise) and this may contain analytics tracking code. We may also use third party productivity tools e.g. Google Analytics, Google reCAPTCHA v3 (which are subject to their Privacy Policy and Terms of Use) and others in our website to help us deliver the best experience to you and to help protect our site. Wherever possible, we don’t track or collect personal information from these tools. Any data we do collect is typically based around browser statistics, computer / device type, website pages visited & duration, internet connection speeds and loading times, IP address and server information etc. All data is treated confidentially and only used for website traffic analysis, improving e.g. speeds, load times, mobile compatibility and security, for example.

WHO WE SHARE YOUR DATA WITH

Except for any 3rd party apps that we use that may collect analytical data, we don’t intentionally share any of data with any unauthorised third parties, unless you have consented to us doing so: e.g. if you join our newsletter, make a purchase online or contact us – or where we are processing an order, a booking, payment or other transaction on your behalf. In such cases, we may ask for your information and any information you do share with us is treated confidentially and stored securely. All payments are conducted through trusted & secured payment gateways.

HOW LONG WE RETAIN DATA

We usually keep data long enough to process it and then discard it safely. Certain information may be retained indefinitely.

WHAT RIGHTS YOU HAVE OVER DATA

You can request that we erase any personal data we hold about you. This does not include any data we are obliged to keep for administrative, legal, or security purposes.

Competition Entry Terms

Win A Free Lunch

  1. Prize: One free lunch voucher valued up to $40, priced from the lunch menu.
  2. Entry: To enter, you must be a current subscriber to the Indy’s Curry Pot newsletter and agree to these competition entry terms.
  3. Eligibility: Open to all current newsletter subscribers aged 18 and over.
  4. One Entry per Person: Each individual can only enter once (one entry per email person). Multiple email subscriptions or entries for the same individual will not increase your chances of winning.
  5. Draw Date: The winner will be randomly selected from the newsletter subscriber list on (or close to) the 15th of each month, starting February 2025. The competition will continue until an announcement is made to end it.
  6. Notification: The winner will be contacted via the email address used for their newsletter subscription.
  7. Redemption:
    • The prize must be redeemed within 1 month of notification; otherwise, it will be forfeited.
    • Redemption must occur in person during published shop lunchtime hours and exchanged for any item listed on that day’s lunch menu.
    • One voucher per transaction. No change or credit will be provided if the voucher is not fully used in a single transaction.
  8. Non-Transferable: The prize is non-transferable and is valid only for the named winner. It cannot be exchanged for cash or credit.
  9. Disqualification:
    • Entries deemed duplicates, inauthentic, or ineligible may be disqualified at Indy’s Curry Pot’s discretion.
    • Winners are automatically disqualified from entering the draw for six months following a win.
    • If a disqualified entry is drawn, the draw will be voided, and another draw will take place until an eligible winner is selected.
  10. Organiser Rights: Indy’s Curry Pot reserves the right to modify or cancel the competition at any time without prior notice.
  11. Publication: Indy’s Curry Pot may publish the first name of the winner and a photo of them receiving the prize on our website or social media or elsewhere (to help publicise our shop and promotion). If you prefer not to have your face included in the photo, we can anonymize it (e.g., take a photo of your hands with the prize or blur your face). Please let us know your preference before redeeming your prize.
